Balthazar Design Hotel

I recommend this hotel based on my experience with it in several aspects; At first I was afraid that the location is in the middle of the center and I read a lot that taxis do not reach this area and therefore it is necessary to carry the bags for a distance to reach it and for this reason I hesitated to book in it, but after the experience I assure you that the hotel is very interested in its guests. It provided a nice, loyal, polite and organized employee (Jakub). (Levente) As soon as we reached the last stop with the taxi, he came to us quickly and with a broad chest and a smile. He carried all our bags. He was very loyal and organized. He smiled at us and took care of our affairs. We thank him very much and we will not forget his effort with us. Likewise, the receptionist (. Malgorzata) welcomed us from the moment we entered as if we were guests in her home. She gave us the best impression and completed the check-in procedures quickly and hosted us with a drink and gave us a lot of information about the tourist places. Likewise, the breakfast employee (. Gabriela) welcomed us warmly and chose the best place for us and stood waiting for any request we asked for, responding to us in seconds and giving us the best choices for breakfast. Thank you, thank you, thank you. For the beauty of its taste and kind service; and about the breakfast items, Michelle really gave them a star, and they are at a high level and deserve this evaluation. The most delicious pancake you can taste in the whole world, as well as the way they present the rest of the items, with high taste and deliciousness. As for the hotel design, anyone who cares about design knows that they have used the best decor designers. The hotel suits those who care about art, because the choice of furniture, antiques, wallpaper and wall colors was a masterpiece... Great location and excellent hotel close to Wavel Castle. Very attentive and friendly staff who went out of their way to make our stay enjoyable. The food was good including the dinner menu. A decent sized room looking onto the courtyard garden which was very comfortable and well laid out. Our stay was one of the most enjoyable we have had an a beautiful historic city.

I mean it is exactly as it is advertised. A beautiful designer hotel mixing old and new styles into a wonderful hotel to stay at. Whether as a treat or to class up your stay, it was everything and more than I could hope for. The level of professionalism was exceptional, even if a bit intimidating at first for my countryside sensibilities. Greeted, offered immediate service, drink, and shown to room. In the room we were welcomed by complimentary drinks and snack as well as an absolutely gorgeous room. Breakfast was worth every penny and a must for anyone booking stay here! Fiorentina is one of the best restaurants in Kraków and possibly the best I've ever had the pleasure of eating at.

This hotel was the final point of our vacation on the way home and it was just perfect ending. Everything was perfect from the room itself to the breakfast and little details that made our stay unforgettable. The breakfast is served in the Michelin-star restaurant and you can definitely feel it - tasty is not enough to describe it. Whole breakfast experience! The beds and pillows were super comfy, cleanliness is not even a question here. A huge selection of high quality toiletries. And the little details like candies on pillows, a personal note from manager and a small bathrobe for our 2 year old traveler <3 Definitely recommended if you are looking for something special for your stay in Krakow!

Beautiful hotel with exceptional staff, super location , breakfast was lovely and breakfast staff amazing. Rooms beautifully clean and receptionists all super helpful. This hotel is a little diamond .
